My Name is Sandiman Gem Stone Emerald or Sandy for short and this is my life

As dogs do, Ben & I liked to explore away from the house on our own, of course, Ben being the ring leader, I just followed  (our "mum and dad" didn't think much of this as it caused them worry when they didn't know where we were).  It was one of those mornings when Ben took it in his head to go and explore, and like I said, I just followed.  We dogs have such good noses for smells that it took us to a house that humans were having breakfast.  Although Ben may have looked big, he was such a softie, we gave the owners of the house one of our  best sad eyes look (as we have such beautiful eyes) so they would feel sorry for us and yes, they did give us some breakfast, it tasted so good.  We were enjoying our breakfast when our "mum and dad" came round, (apparently they had asked the local police if they had seen 2 dogs in the street and they gave them the address), mores the pity as we hadn't finished our food.

Dads are strange creatures.... they make you do things that are not cool for my image.

This was fun - if I dig deep enough, nobody will see me.

Playing in the sand is such a hard life.

As I've said, Ben & I like to explore.  One particular family we kept on visiting would keep bringing  us back home until eventually they became good friends.  Their names are Christine & Tony who had a son called Craig,  Craig came around a lot after that, I think my "mum and dad" said something like "oh no, not you again" when he came round.  I only had to give Craig one of my sad looks and he would sit on the floor with me and cuddle me lots.  His parents looked after us when ours went away, cause once, we did go in the kennels but they didn't like this (nor did we), it upset them to leave us.

I don't know what I'm supposed to do with this ball.

Just because we're having an extension to our house, I have to sleep rough with my mate Craig (who gave me lots of cuddles) and Ben.

Come ON mum, its time to get up and take us for a walk

Now I know I put my ball here somewhere!

I need Ben to help me find it.

When it snowed, it was the best time ever, I could have stayed out all the time (until "mum" got worried that I might get too cold, she just didn't know that us dogs have thick coats and liked being outside).  It was good fun, Ben and I went on hunting expeditions to find our toys and bones.  I don't know why, but I just loved catching snowballs, maybe because they were soft and wet.

Another really good friend of mine, John, he also gave me lots of cuddles.

I'll let you pick it up Ben, its too cold for me.

I wish Craig would hurry up and throw that snowball.

Let me get the ball first this time.

Its the best time when I'm made a fuss of.
